Who controls your information

MABAYN LIMITED is the controller of the personal information described in this notice.

Information we collect

We collect your email address directly from you, which is required to join the waitlist, and your name if you choose to provide it. We also record when and how consent was given, the version of the consent wording and the source of the sign-up.

Providing this information is voluntary: it is not a statutory or contractual requirement. Without an email address, however, you cannot join the waitlist.

To protect the form from misuse, we may process a short-lived, pseudonymous identifier derived from connection information. We do not store raw IP addresses, user-agent strings, request bodies or Turnstile tokens in the waitlist database.

Why we use it

We use this information to administer the MABAYN waitlist and, with your consent, to send collection notes, studio updates, launch news and early-access invitations. Consent is our lawful basis for this email marketing.

We also use proportionate security and abuse-prevention measures to protect the waitlist and our services. Our legitimate interests in operating a secure service are the lawful basis for that limited processing.

Service providers and transfers

Cloudflare provides the D1 database, hosting infrastructure and Turnstile abuse protection used by the waitlist. Cloudflare acts as a processor or infrastructure provider for these services.

Cloudflare may process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. For transfers to the United States, Cloudflare relies on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable. Otherwise, it uses approved contractual safeguards, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum and supplementary measures. You may ask us for information about, or a copy of, the relevant safeguards by contacting the privacy address above.

We may appoint an email-delivery or email-marketing provider in the future. We will review its data-protection terms and update this notice before transferring waitlist information to it.

How long we keep information

• Active subscriber records are kept while consent remains valid and are reviewed after 24 months without engagement.
• When someone unsubscribes, we remove their name and retain only the minimal suppression information needed to respect that choice.
• Anti-abuse records are retained for a maximum of 24 hours.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal information. You may withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting admin@mabayn.co.uk. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You have an absolute right to object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing. If you object, we will stop using it for that purpose.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Other assurances

We do not sell subscriber information. We do not use waitlist information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
